Three months postpartum, I was an angry mom and a snappy wife, worried about current events, about the world my children were growing up in, and about how to raise them in a society that often seems so far from God. I turned to the Bible for comfort, but I quickly realized I was still letting devotionals, other people’s opinions, and outside voices shape my understanding of Scripture.
It wasn’t until I finally let God Himself be my Teacher that everything changed. Suddenly, the Bible wasn’t confusing or overwhelming it was alive, clear, and transforming me from the inside out. I felt equipped, confident, and at peace, knowing exactly what I believed and how to raise my children in a depraved world. And here’s the truth that shocked me: you don’t need hours a day to do this. With the right, Spirit-led method, even the busiest moms can experience this same transformation.
